5 Days Apple Diet Plan to Lose 10 Pounds in 7 Days

If you have been struggling to lose weight in a short amount of time, then  you must have heard of the famous “apple diet”, it is a diet low in calories intake which consists of mainly apples in each meal, based mainly on the fact that apples are a low-calorie food and the believe that eating an apple during a meal will make you feel full, therefore you will eat less.

Day 1

  • Dinner: 3-4 Apples.

Day 2

  • Breakfast: 1 apple, and a piece of whole grain toast with avocado.
  • Lunch: 2 apples and avocado green salad, with a little bit of seeds and nuts on top.
  • Dinner: 3-4 Apples.

Day 3

  • Breakfast:  1 apple and a bowl of whole-grain cereals with low fat milk.
  • Lunch: 1 apple, and green salad with lemon and apple cider vinegar dressing.
  • Dinner: 3-4 Apples.

Day 4

  • Breakfast: 1 apple, one slice of whole-grain toast and a boiled egg.
  • Lunch: 1 apple, fresh vegetables, and chicken breast.
  • Dinner: 3-4 Apples.

Day 5

  • Breakfast: 1 apple, one piece of whole-grain toast and a slice of low-fat turkey bacon
  • Lunch:  1 apple and veggies soup with chicken breast.
  • Dinner:  3-4 Apples.

The apple diet plan consists of mainly available, affordable and healthy ingredients.

  • Make sure to drink enough water during the day, especially before meals, it will help you prevent constipation and eat less.
  • While this diet is rich in nutrients, the low calories intake might have some side effects especially at the beginning such as dizziness and headaches.
  • After the 5th day you might experience a big urge to eat more, try your best to control it and higher up your calories intake progressively.
  • If you find it hard to lower your calories intake this much, try to help lose more calories with exercising.
  • If it’s your first time trying a low calories diet you might need to check with your doctor first.
