How To Take Care Of Dry Hair

Dry hair is characterized by its dull appearance, where the color of the hair is not shiny and the secretion of natural oils in the scalp is less, so it is more prone to brittleness and roughness.

To take care of dry hair you first need to choose the right care products for it. It is preferable to choose oily products that contain natural oil extracts to compensate for the hair and scalp for the lack of sebum secretions that helps moisturize the hair naturally.

You should also avoid the use of harsh shampoos that some people may use as they think that they help to deeply clean the scalp, but they may cause more dryness and breakage of the hair.

Massage the scalp and hair from the roots of the hair to the ends for several minutes a day for dry hair. The massage stimulates blood circulation, which helps transfer nutrients effectively to the hair roots.

Using a little natural hair oils while massaging the hair helps moisturize it, and it also covers the hair with a protective layer that helps protect it from the influence of external factors and protects it from drying out.

It is recommended to use coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil or shea butter in massaging the hair and scalp, an amount equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon daily.

Weekly Dry Hair Care Routine

To care for dry hair on a weekly basis, it is recommended to use a cream bath for dry hair. When choosing a cream bath, it is advised to choose products that contain extracts of honey, milk and natural oils, which help moisturize the hair and protect it from drying out.

Some natural recipes can also be used as a great alternative to a traditional cream bath, which is one of the best ways to take care of dry hair.

Mayonnaise Mask For Moisturizing Dry Hair

Mayonnaise is one of the best natural ingredients for moisturizing and caring for dry hair, thanks to its high content of moisturizing elements and proteins that help nourish the hair and restore its vital appearance.

Ingredients :

1/2 cup mayonnaise.

A tablespoon of olive oil.

A tablespoon of honey.

Mix all the ingridents until you get a homogenous mixture then apply the mask  after washing the hair as usual, preferably with hot water to open the pores. It is recommended to massage the scalp with fingertips in a circular motion for 5 minutes to stimulate blood circulation.

Avocado And Honey Mask

Avocado contains a high percentage of fatty acids that deeply moisturize dry hair and nourish hair follicles. Honey is also one of the natural moisturizers that work to preserve the hair and protect it from drying, and it also covers it with a thin layer that helps protect it from the harmful influence of external factors.

Mash a ripe avocado with a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of milk. Mix the ingredients well until they are completely homogeneous. Apply the mask after washing the hair with hot water and cover it with a plastic cap for 30 minutes, then rinse it with lukewarm water well.
