Honey And Lemon Juice For Sore Throat
Lemon juice contains vitamin C. It’s an effective way to combat respiratory infections like those that cause a sore throat.
An easy way of using lemon juice:
Take 1 glass of warm water, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Add lemon juice and honey to warm water. Mix well. Drink the mixture in the morning and before going to bed. Do this every day until throat pain and swelling subside.
Honey And Onion Juice For Sore Throat
Onion juice is a quick way to ease the pain and discomfort causes by this problem.
How to use onion juice:
Chop 1 onion into small pieces. Put in a jar with a lid. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix well. Store the mixture in the refrigerator. Chill for 24 hours.
The next day, take one tablespoon of the liquid. Do this every day until a sore throat is gone.
Cayenne Pepper For Sore Throat
Sounds spicy and weird? Well, however it may sound, this is one of the most effective ways of treating your sore throat.
You will need half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. If you cannot bear too much spice, you can reduce the quantity.
Add the cayenne and one teaspoon of honey in a cup of boiling water.
You can have this drink throughout the day but make sure the drink is warm.
Garlic For Sore Throat
Put a piece of garlic in each of your cheek.
Use it like a cough drop and keep sucking on it.
Once in a while give it a gentle crush with your teeth to release the allicin compound.
Baking soda is another ingredient from your kitchen that is super effective in solving a lot of health related problems.
Take a glass of warm water.
Add half a teaspoon of salt and baking soda. Mix it.
Use this to gargle thrice a day.
